  Recently, I made a portfolio of thirty-odd shots, to show off some of my best and recent work. You can view it here. I'm still really enjoying my new camera. The other day I gave it a good test run at Westerford (my high school). There was a fundraiser for a water polo tour, and Tim Noakes (a very well-known health expert) and Cameron van der Burgh (Olympic gold medalist!) were there. :D I didn't get to meet them personally, but it was interesting listening to their speeches. I found that the battery life on my camera is actually much better than what I expected it to be, which is great! :) Don't forget to like m

A week or two ago, I posted a small journal about the camera that I was saving up for — the Canon 650D... Great news: I finally got it! It's absolutely what I was hoping for. The only downside I've found so far is the battery life. For know though, I've borrowed the Click Club's 15-85mm f/3.5-5.6, and I must say, it looks pretty awesome on the 650D.

There are a few reasons for why I want to upgrade:  • The noise on my Fuji is wayyy too high, even at ISO100  • I want to make the change from bridge/compact to DSLR  • The Fuji's write speed is ridiculously slow (it takes about three seconds to write a 5MB JPEG to a class 6 SD card) After quite a few weeks of searching, I came across the Canon 650D. :squee: A couple of it's quick specs are an ISO sensitivity of up to 25'600, 18 megapixels, a Digic 5 proce
